That Chic in Formals

Hey lovely ladies,

How are you all? So this one is going to be quick write! Did you ever feel that at times, formals and being chic doesn't go together? I have a solution!! I did some research for you guys and have prepared 3 formal yet chic looks just for you guys! so next time when you get ready for work don't forget these tips and thank me later ;)

1) Love your monochromes

The shirt is from Westside and you should check their formal wears, they are amazing, and reasonable (Exactly what we need :-p). So monochromes are always in for formal wears but the best part is they are very easy to style as well. Dont be boring in always wearing your shirts with formal pants. Try palazzo and they will completely change your look (Have a look your self)

2) Tuck in you shirts

So I know its like a commonsense but trust me its not that common! Tucking in the shirt gives a very professional look plus it accentuate your curves too. Trust me it completely changes the look and also gives away the impression that you took time and efforts to be more formal. (see the look)

3) Don't shy away from ruffles

People usually think that ruffles are only for movies or party wears but that not true. I have been using a lot of ruffles in my shirts because they are cute and girly but also work as great formal wear.

4) Show your skin

People believe that showing skin is not allowed while wearing formals. Its not a taboo.. but make sure you do it right! So it is completely fine to wear a sleeveless top and a knee length skirt but avoid doing it together. If you are wearing a skirt, avoid sleeveless and while wearing sleeveless opt for formal pants. This way you can enjoy you clothes, wear what you want and not attract a lot of eyes.

5) Accessorize!!

I think it is really important to wear some statement pieces on your formal wears. They enhance the whole look, so even if you dont have time to put on make up just wear a nice piece of jewelry and you are good to go. Just by adding earrings or a necklace and see the magic.

So, here are three looks I created to look chic in formals. Do let me know what you think about them.

Love,
Muskan
