Saree tips for petite females

Ok! so lets face it, we all love wearing sarees and flaunting how hot we look in it, BUT if we have a small frame, short height it becomes a task and we kind of stop thinking about wearing sarees and opt for traditional dresses but hey! why should tall girls have all the fun han? :-p

So I am a biggggg saree fan and I too have a small frame and a short height! but that never demotivated me or stopped me from wearing one! Although I do believe we can anything we want, at times our height betrays us and if we wear what others can wear, we look shorter and fluffier.. So here are some tips for you gorgeous girls.

1) Always, Always wear heels underneath your saree:

Its not as obvious as you might think. Wearing a nude one is always a yes but if you dont want wear that make sure you get you heels before you start wearing your saree! wear your saree with sandals on that will cover the heels and make you look taller!! Also dont wear really chunky or colorful ones that will attract attention to your heels and we dont want that!

2) Don't wear big prints:

Big prints make things look bigger and overshadows the figure. So a big NO for large prints.. if you love prints you can always carry a saree with smaller print or plain sarees with a cute little border. you can always opt for dark colors like black or red they make you look slimmer too!

3) Avoid heavy borders:

Heavy border directly cuts the height visually making you look shorter. Also if you have a small frame heavy border might look bulky giving an unpleasant view. Always select either no borders or simple cute little ones, this will also elongate the height and complements the small frame.

4) Invest in a good-fitted petticoat:

You will not believe how much difference a fitted patticoat can make! This is a must for all the girls who are saree lovers. So ditch those petticoats you borrowed from your moms and get a one that fits you right and tight! This can unimaginably put 3-4 extra inches on your body without realizing and making you look fat and short. Furthermore, if you are dressing up for a short time event you can also wear your saree on your jeans! I have done this and I can tell you it was just perfect! It gave me the fitting I needed and my curves were visible and it was realllly easy to carry too!

5) Pin it right:

So all the sarees are around 5 feet and the point is to wear it in a way that those 5 feet dont look like 10 on us! so the best way is to first pin everything because if it is lose there are chances of it not staying in the place. While wearing a saree make sure you cover all the crease and overlap them. If they are not it may give like an over sized top look!

6) Choosing a right fabric:

So I have never ever (NEVER) worn a saree with a thick material. We cant look at them girls..there are many other options.. choose soft easy breezy material which manageable and does not cover you whole body. Shiffon is the best among all and nets are also very easy to handle. These fabrics will stick to your body and sharpen that figure wherein other thick materials will use their own mind may make you look like stuffed toy.

7) Give your pallu love some rest:

I know how hot an open pallu can look but it is not for petite girls trust me! If your pallu is open the major part of your body and saree is covered with that and thats not a good thing cause it directly cuts the height. Instead go for pinned up pallu, show off some patli kamar and that will make you look like deepika-taller and slimmer.

8) Choose a right blouse:

We short girls cant always wear whatever we see celebrities wear. But if somethings are taken care of we sure as hell flaunt as celebrity. So a rightly fitted blouse and see what kind of saree you are wearing and choose the blouse accordingly. If you are wearing a heavy saree get somewhat plain blouse and if your saree is plain go experiment with your blouse. Get your blouses a little shorter in height this way it give you upper body more space to show and making you look taller. Also dont get really long blouses or very long sleeves (lose ones) they can spoil the look.

So yeah girls here are some tips which can change your entire look.I am also posting a look that I created with my saree do check it and let me know if you find these tips useful.

Muskan

About the product:

The product comes in a nicely packed envelope and and the shape of the product is like a funnel and it is coated with a waterproof material.

How to use it:
